At Evergreen Albums we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains in plain English what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
When you place an order we collect:
Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
We use your information only to:
We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
We will never use your photos for marketing or promotional purposes without your permission.
We understand that your photos are deeply personal. Here is exactly how we handle them:
The Evergreen Android app may request access to photos stored on your phone, or otherwise already accessible on your device. This access is used to display, organise, group and let you select photos by year, month, day or date range, so you can provide a large source collection without picking images one by one.
Access to the photo library does not mean Evergreen automatically uploads your whole library. Browsing and selection happen on your device. The app does not transmit your complete photo-library index.
Only photos you select and explicitly confirm for submission are uploaded. Those original photo files are transmitted to Evergreen's storage so we can create your album. Uploaded files may include metadata already embedded in the original image, such as EXIF metadata.
To process the upload, the app also sends information needed to identify and store those files, such as filename, file type (MIME type), file size, and available modification or date information. Your Evergreen order link or token is used to connect the app to your order and authenticate the upload. This information, and the selected photo files, are transmitted using HTTPS (encrypted in transit).
Uploaded photos are stored using Cloudflare while your order is being processed, as described under “Third parties we work with” below. They are used and deleted according to “Your photos” and “Data retention” in this policy, including permanent deletion 30 days after your album has been completed.
The Android app does not use advertising identifiers, does not contain advertising, and does not currently use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. The app does not use photo-library access for advertising, and Evergreen does not sell photo-library data.
This on-device access does not include photos that exist only in cloud services such as Google Photos and are not stored on the phone.
Production Partners — trusted third-party providers used to print and deliver your album. They receive only the photos and album files required to fulfil your order.
Stripe — our payment processor. They handle all payment information securely. You can read their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Formspree — used to securely receive contact form submissions.
Cloudflare — used to securely store uploaded photos while your order is being processed.
We retain your order details for a reasonable period for customer service and business record purposes.
Uploaded photos are retained for up to 30 days after your album has been completed and are then permanently deleted.
